
Apichai Phongluangtham
Director of Food and Beverage OperationsApichai is a seasoned Food and Beverage professional. After obtaining a degree in Hotel Management from Portland Community College in Oregon, he spent three years working in various positions around the United States, returning to his native Thailand to start his career in the Thai hospitality industry with the Dusit Group.
From there, he joined the Grand Hyatt Bangkok opening team in 1992 and stayed with the property until 2000 when he was appointed as Director of Food and Beverage for the opening of the Hyatt Regency Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand. Apichai's professional career since 2002 included leadership positions within the Food and Beverage Operations of the Marriott Group, Le Meridien as well as the Anantara Group.
Apichai joined HOTELCORP in January of 2008 to lead the development, implementation and operations of new Food & Beverage initiatives.
